What is ALT. Club?

A unique, entirely accessible and affordable actor training program that is intensive, and offers an essential toolbox that prepares actors for the Theatre and TV Industry.

Taught by leading Practitioners.

In 7 weekly sessions, you will get:

Guidance on self-taping, textual analysis and improvisation, all focused on Naturalism.
Expert advice from Founder Toby Clarke’s own style of acting coaching, drawing from his hands-on experience working with HBO, Channel 4, BBC, ITV, Disney+.
Masterclasses with leading industry professionals, such as Casting Directors, Accent Coaches, Directors.

For actors entering or re-entering the industry. The new Progression strand is a pathway to our Professional programme, designed to provide a solid foundation in naturalism, monologues, stage & screen duologues, and Shakespeare.

The Progression strand is for you if:

You don't have representation or a Spotlight profile / a showreel but would like to get there
You haven't had formal drama training
You do not yet have many professional credits

Professional cohort

2 groups; 12 spaces each

7 sessions between w.c. 20 May and w.c. 1 July

Group A - Mondays

Group B - Wednesdays

6:30pm - 9:30pm at Southwark Playhouse

£350 (paid in 2 instalments)

For professional actors wanting to level up their practice. In addition to naturalism training, the professional strand includes masterclasses in self-taping, casting & auditions, and accents.

The Professional strand is for you if:

You have an agent and/or a Spotlight profile
You have a number of professional credits and/or formal drama training

If you're not sure which strand to join, simply select all groups when applying, and we will assign you to the one we think suits you best, based on your profile.
