Tuesday 17 September, 6:30-9:30pm at Brixton House Practical Masterclass with casting director Daniel Edwards (Heartstopper, Responsible Child, Black Dog, Champion, This Town, Then You Run) Daniel will assign sides to prepare based on each actor's profile. Participants will then get an opportunity to present them as an informal mock TV & Film audition, with notes and redirection from Daniel. There may be a filmed component, with a camera live feeding back to a monitor. There will also be a Q&A where Daniel will be imparting his extensive knowledge of the Film and TV casting landscape, sharing his best tips for acing self-tapes and auditions. _______________ Daniel moved into Casting in 2006 after leaving a 25 year acting career where he worked consistently in Theatre, Film and Television. He set up Daniel Edwards Casting in 2014 and works across Television Drama and Independent Film. Daniel won an Emmy, an RTS and a CDG award in 2022 for his casting on the Netflix global hit, ‘Heartstopper’.
